DG Bill Fine’s dad was a Rotarian for 35 years. Bill lived in Argentina for a year. He has had various sales positions and was a high school teacher for a year. This year’s theme is “light up Rotary” and International Rotary’s first priority is Polio. The District will run a Sales Training Day to raise $30K for Polio which will be matched 2-for-1 by Bill Gates and promote international youth exchanges. The District conference will be May 7-9, 2015 in Frederick, MD for the first time and there will be a discount for new members. Frederick Rotary members will host Rotarians in their homes for overnight stays.
