Maryland resident Rob Scheer is founder of Comfort Cases, a nationwide program of distributing backpacks to children leaving the foster care system. Over the past eleven years, more than 220,000 Comfort Cases and duffel bags have been to children in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom.
