Ms. Jerri Scarzella is a founding member of the HealthWell Foundation, serving as Vice Chair and Treasurer of the Board. A graduate of the American University School of Nursing, she dedicated 43 years to Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland, holding leadership roles in Emergency Medicine, Risk Management, Customer Relations, and Policy Coordination. She has been recognized nationally and internationally for her contributions to patient advocacy, earning prestigious awards such as the Ruth Ravich Award.

Ms. Scarzella has also contributed to key healthcare initiatives, including revisions to the Patient Bill of Rights and consulting for the Department of Homeland Security and Washington, D.C. public schools.
